We offer those following services to people:

Personal Care tasks

Personal Care tasks

Personal care is a broad term which refers to supporting with daily activities such as caring for personal hygiene and toileting, along with dressing and maintaining people’s personal appearance.

In the UK, the definition of ‘personal care’ is categorized as one of a number of ‘regulated activities’, a legal term listed in Schedule 1 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

The Act clarifies that the provision of ‘ personal care to people who are unable to provide it for themselves, because of old age, illness or disability, and which is provided to them in the place where those people are living at the time when the care is provided’ – must be registered and regulated by CQC in England, Care Inspectorate in Wales, Care Inspectorate  for Scotland and Northern Social Care Council for Northern Ireland. ‘’

This includes for example, ‘Personal Care’ offered by Real Mission Care as a domiciliary care agency.

We are registered with CQC, please click here to find us on the CQC website.

Real Mission Care ensures the highest quality of personal care by meeting people’s needs, choice and preferences in sustainable, safe and person-centred provisions which navigate holistic ways of communications, create digital & eco-friendly environments, and ensure people’s comfort, dignity, privacy and independence.

Home Support tasks

Our ‘Home Support’ refers to general care such as cleanliness, orderliness and maintenance etc.  This is a crucial aspect of environmental safety as good housekeeping helps prevent accidents, reduce infection and also minimise the severity/consequences of accidents.

Looking after the house on top of other commitments can be challenging but it is important to recognise that support with domestic tasks or housekeeping is also a means of saving time and energy in other respects.

For anyone not requiring personal care but nonetheless needing extra help around the house, we can provide this support, which will help them retain their independence.

Everyone has their own unique way of doing things and their own personal standard of housekeeping. People will be in control of the services we provide, and we will be happy to carry out tasks according to their preferences and requirements. Our support is completely flexible with ad hoc tasks, routine day-to-day chores or on a live-in basis.

People using home care services often need support that goes beyond their personal care needs and the care provider has a legal responsibility to ensure that home care packages address social care-related quality of life and the person’s wider wellbeing (for example home cleanliness and comfort) in addition to practical support.

Service users should have the peace of mind that all of our staff have been DBS checked, fully vetted, expertly trained and are employed by us – our domestic assistants are discrete, trustworthy and personable.

People can benefit from a range of different domestic care and housekeeping services including:

  • Cleaning bedroom, living room, stairs, bathroom, toilet, kitchen and surfaces, including bed linen, cooker and refrigerator.
  • Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping floors / wet or dry mop in rooms and polishing.
  • General tidying and other light household duties.
  • Washing up, loading the dishwasher or washing drying and storing dishes and utensils.
  • Laundry, drying and folding clothing & linens and ironing
  • Storing items as requested.

Social Care tasks

Meeting people’s specific and diverse needs is very important to ensure a better service, treatment and care. It is also a requirement for the care provider to know what factors and systems actually meet and support the specific needs.

Although the range and type of services classed as home care varies, it usually encompasses: personal care, support with the activities of daily living, essential domestic tasks and helping people to stay independent and take part in social activities.

Support with social activities can include the following:

  • Shopping
  • Community access.
  • Transportation/Escorting.
  • Taking to medical appointments/Picking up prescriptions
  • Taking to other social activities (religious, family etc.).
  • Support with mail / correspondence.
  • Bill payment
  • Help with paperwork
  • Companionship

Real Mission Care also helps people by giving them information concerning other accessible sources of support.
